Conditions governing the use of the Aurion Legacy platform.

1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Aurion Legacy platform ("Service"), operated by AURION BUSINESS OPTIMIZATION LLC, a U.S. limited liability company with EIN 42-2123083 and registered in Seattle, Washington ("Aurion", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Nature of the service
Aurion Legacy is a technology tool that helps Spanish-speaking users in the United States organize information related to legal matters. The Service prepares drafts, summaries, and guides using artificial intelligence. Aurion Legacy is NOT a law firm, does NOT provide legal services, and does NOT replace the advice of an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction. Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Aurion or any reviewing attorney.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is not directed at children under 13. If we discover that we collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information in accordance with COPPA.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the information, documents, and data you upload ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your User Content solely to operate the Service: run the Privacy Gateway flow, generate AI drafts, display them to reviewing attorneys, and deliver them to you.
6. Use of artificial intelligence
The Service uses third-party AI models (e.g., Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, or other providers) to process your information. Before each call to external AI, sensitive data passes through our Privacy Gateway, which anonymizes identifiable information. Even so, AI can be wrong, miss legal nuance, or generate incorrect content. Any AI output must be treated as a draft and verified before any real legal use.
7. Human review
When a case requires legal review, an independent attorney licensed in the relevant state reviews the material. That review is optional and depends on attorney availability. The review does not create an attorney-client relationship with Aurion. If you need formal legal representation, retain an attorney directly in your jurisdiction.
8. Prohibited uses
You may not: (a) use the Service for illegal activities; (b) upload third-party content without permission; (c) attempt to access other accounts; (d) reverse engineer, mass scrape, or load test without authorization; (e) present the Service as a substitute for a licensed attorney; (f) use the Service for immigration fraud, document fraud, or any action that could harm another person.
9. Fees and payments
Some features may require payment. Prices, billing models (subscription, flat fee, commission), and refund policy are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through third-party providers; we do not store full card numbers.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, designs, trademarks, templates, and documentation, is owned by Aurion and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service while you comply with these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT AI-GENERATED INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR LEGALLY SUFFICIENT.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) USD $100 OR (b) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Aurion and its team harmless from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your User Content, or (c) your breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your access if you breach these Terms. After closure we will retain data only as long as reasonably necessary for legal or audit obligations.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When a change is material, we will notify you in the platform and require you to re-accept the current version before continuing to use the Service.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, U.S., without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration or before courts with jurisdiction in King County, WA, except where applicable law guarantees a different consumer forum.
